1. When going from T-L, look over your shoulder. Find the last defender, or the defender that can hurt you the most.
2. Call the obvious fouls and violations.
3. On out of bounds play, take the ball out of bounds where the ball went out of bounds.
4. Know your clock(s).
5. Know your team fouls.
6. Review when team control ends.
7. Allow aggressive play, but not rough play.
8. Sequence shooters going up and down and then go to rebound.
9. Enforce freedom of movement.
10. When you officiate out of your primary, throw strikes right down the middle of the plate.
11. Many times in a game, your best calls are no calls.
12. Bring Focus, Awareness, Concentration, Experience, to every possession and game.
