What Official is responsible for the counting of a goal at the end of a period? In “3” person, the opposite officiate is responsible unless they give it up to one of the other officials. In “2” person, it would be the trail, unless they gave it up to the lead.
Remember we have no replay, if one of the crew members knows a play was blatantly missed get together as a crew and discuss and don’t argue. These plays will be crucial in the next “3” months. We need to communicate and have good awareness. Don’t get surprised.
On last second shot scenarios, one official will count or disallow the goal. The other official(s) will help with the “3” point line and foul(s).
The Referee on each game must test the game clock horn and the shot clock horn.
When adjudicating game clock and shot clock scenarios, listen to the horn. Remember this is a team effort.
