Happy Thanksgiving- Injured Player

When do you stop the game for an injured player?
The official may suspend play when the ball is in control of the injured player’s team.
‘The official may suspend play when the opposing team completes a play.
The official may suspend play when necessary to protect an injured player.

Play -I- A1 is dribbling the ball up the floor and A3 is limping up the floor. The Center Official stops the game. Was the Center Official correct. Yes-No.

Play-II- A1 attempts a try that is unsuccessful, B3 secures the rebound and has a fast break, A3 is injured, the officiating crew delays their whistle until Team B completes their play. Is this permissible. Yes-No.

Play-III- A1 attempts a try that is unsuccessful, B3 secures the rebound and has a fast break, A3 on the rebound slipped and fell on their head. The officiating crew stops  play immediately. Was the officiating crew correct. Yes-No. 


Play-IV- A1 attempts a try that is unsuccessful, B3 secures a rebound and has a fast break. A3 is injured, Team B instead of attacking the goal, pull the ball out and start running a play. The officiating crew stops play immediately. Was the crew correct. Yes-No


All scenarios the answer is Yes- Review Rule-5- 2a-Note
