1. In 3 person mechanics, the trail and center official have to get side line oriented and then “attack” to obtain open “looks”.
2. On out of bounds plays, make sure we are watching the players.
3. When switching on fouls, make sure we are watching the players.
4. In the lead position, find secondary defenders as quick as possible.
5. Review “3” point signal.
6. On hard fouls, go to the “victim”.
7. In the lead position, when plays are going away from you, leave them alone.
8. On early offensive plays, the Trail and Center must get underneath the shooter and officiate the defense.
9. Don’t turn your back on traveling violations.
10. Don’t guess on out of bounds plays.
