1. When we are going from T-L officiate the last defender, or the defender that can hurt you the most.
2. Officiate 70% defense and 30% offense.
3. Stop the clock on all violations.
4. Review held ball signal.
5. Before you administer a time out, communicate the situation at hand when the time out is over.
6. Know your “home” positions in Trail, Center and Lead.
7. In “2” person mechanics, the lead must go ball-side.
8. Know your clock(s) at all times.
9. On closely guarded counts, officiate from the “top of your eyes”.
10. Signals should be sharp and not robotic or “cavalier”
