On this screening play, the screener sets a blind screen. This play becomes illegal when she fails to allow time and distance for the defender to stop or change direction. The center official correctly has an illegal screen on White #12.

The key on this play is the contact. It is a no call if the player being screened does not make contact. The mere presence of the screener setting the blind screen without allowing time and distance is not a foul. It is only a foul if the screened player turns and makes contact.
