All Non-Shooting Fouls and Violations in the front court, ball is put in play at 4 specific spots. Out of bounds are put in play at spot closest where the ball went out of bounds.

Spots are 3 feet from free throw lane line on endline and 28 foot spot on sideline

10-Second Back Court Count

Yes: Use Shot Clock to Administer 10-Second Count Without Visible Count; Use Visible Count When No Shot Clock Visible

10-Second Count Reset:
New 10 second count on all stoppages of play, with the following exceptions:
1. Defense knocks the ball out of bounds, or
2. Held ball retained by the Offense, or
3. Double technical foul.

Note, Defensive Time Out subsequent to any of the stated exceptions will not result in a new 10 second count.

Closely Guarded

Front Court: Holding ball within 6 feet

1st Time: Separate Warning for Delay to the Head Coach
2nd Time: Direct Technical Foul To the Head Coach
