10-Second Count Reset:
All stoppages of the game clock including a KICKED BALL BY THE DEFENSE OR AN INADVERTENT WHISTLE BY AN OFFICIAL

No 10-Second Count Reset:
When the defense causes the ball to be out of bounds; The offense retains the possession after a held ball; or A TIMEOUT CALLED BY THE DEFENSE subsequent to the defense causing the ball to be out of bounds or the offense retaining possession after a held ball.
