In an effort to encourage and support our Officials seeking to advance their learning in a school, camp or clinical environment, the Executive Committee of IAABO Board 12 has again established a Scholarship Committee and approved a Scholarship Fund in the amount of $2,500.
2018 Camp Scholarship Criteria
● To be eligible to receive an award an Official must be a Board 12 home board member in good standing and must attend a session of the Board 12's Summer Camp.
● Applications must be submitted by June 30, 2018.
● The Scholarship Committee will review and select the funded applications on or before July 31, 2018.
● In order to qualify, the school or camp applied to must be considered a “learning” and/or “training” school or camp and not one designed to select officials to join the staff of an officiating group. It is recommended that officials provide a brochure or information detailing the specifics of the school or camp.
● The Scholarship Committee decisions are final and Awards may be revoked if a recipient fails to comply with local and national IAABO Constitutional and By-law requirements and/or personal conduct standards.
● The Scholarship Committee will select recipients in a non-discriminatory manner regardless of race, creed, color, gender, religion or orientation.
