3. A4 is driving to the basket and is intentionally fouled by B5. The try is successful. Handle the Situation?
 
4. A1 is performing a throw-in, B5 breaks the plane and contacts the ball in A1’s hands. Handle the Situation?
 
5. A5 attempts a three point try very close to the three point line. The Trail official takes their eyes off the play and the ball goes in the basket. The Trail Official is not sure if the try is a 2 or 3 point attempt. This occurs in a 2 person game. Handle the Situation?
 
6. A5 has 4 fouls. On a rebound B5 fouls A5 and Team A is in the bonus. After the play, A5 and B5 taunt one another and are ruled for a double technical foul. Handle the Situation?
 
7. There is 1 second left in the 2nd quarter. A3 is attempting their last free throw. The try is unsuccessful and the ball touches the floor. The game horn sounds. The Lead Official blows their whistle immediately. Handle the Situation?
 
8. There is 1 second left in the 2nd quarter. A3 is attempting their last free throw. The try is unsuccessful and the ball touches the floor. The game horn sounds. The Lead Official blows their whistle when the ball goes out of bounds without touching any players. Handle the Situation.
 
9. A1 has two free throws. On the 1st attempt, the ball lodges on the ring. Handle the Situation?

Answers:
1. Penalize the foul on B3 and the offensive basket interference on A4. A1 will attempt three free throws. CB-9.11.2. Teaching Point- Read “5” CB plays every day.
 
2. Count the basket and warn Team B for flopping. If this is the 2nd occurrence, Team B is charged with a technical foul. 4-49-1-a-c. 10-2-1-h. Teaching Point- Be a discerner and not a reactor.
 
3. The basket counts and A4 will receive two free throws with no players lined up. Team A will receive the ball at one of the 4 spots in their frontcourt. 10-Penalty-4. CB-4.19.3. Situation A. Teaching Point- Master Penalties.
 
4. This is a warning on Team B if it is the 1st occurrence and a technical foul on B5. 9-2-10-Penalty-3. CB-10.4.10 Situation A.
 
5. Stop the game, go to your partner for information, if your partner does not know, go to the scoring table for help. If there is no reliable information from either, the basket counts as 2 points.
 
6. After the double technical foul. A5 has received “5” fouls and is disqualified. A5’s substitute will shoot the free throws with all players lined up, this is the point of interruption after the double technical foul. 4-36-1, 8-2. Teaching Point- Know Resumption of play. Be ready for the unexpected.
 
7. In this situation, the crew has to put “1” second on the game clock and resume the game with the AP Arrow. 5-9-3, 6-4-f.  Teaching Point- Have game awareness.
 
8. Team B’s at the out of bounds spot. The crew will put “1” second back on the game clock. 5-9-3, 7-2-1. Teaching Point- Be ready for the unexpected.
 
9. A1 will attempt their second free throw. 6-4-d. Teaching Point- Know how to resume play and master exceptions.
 
10. The game will resume the AP Arrow. 6-4-d. Teaching Point- Be ready for the unexpected.
