1. A1 throws a pass from their backcourt to the front court. The 10 second count continues when the pass is in flight. T-F
 
2. A1’s dribble deflects off their leg, A3 requests a timeout. The timeout should be granted since Team A is in team control. T-F
 
3. A1 is fouled on the perimeter by B1. This is the fifth team foul on Team B. Instead the officials give Team A the ball out of bounds. Thrower-In A1 throws the ball to A2 inbounds and A2 requests and is granted a timeout. Handle the Situation?
 
4. Airborne shooter A3 releases a try and B5 goal-tends on the play. A3 continues and “runs over” B3 who is in a legal guarding position. Handle the Situation?
 
5. On a jump ball, the clock starts when the ball is legally tapped by one of the jumpers. T-F
 
 
 
Answers:
1. True-CB-9.8. Situation A & B. Read 5 Case Book plays every day. 
2. False-5-8-3a. Know the difference between team and player control.
3. Grant the timeout to Team A, after the timeout, A1 will receive two free throws with all players lined up. 2-10-1a, 2-10-6. Teaching Point- Have Court Awareness. 
4. Count the basket & penalize the foul. Team B is entitled to run the end line when play is resumed.  CB-4.19.6-Teaching Point- Be ready for the unexpected.
