The ball left A2’s hand and the foul occurred before the end-of-period signal. The tap is unsuccessful. Officials rule that A2 is awarded two free throws with the lane spaces cleared.

2. If a substitute did not properly report to the scoring table. The players who ended the last period must start the next period or resume after a timeout.
 
3. B1 commits their 5th foul against A1 who was in the act of shooting an unsuccessful jump shot. Before the first free throw, both teams may substitute due to the disqualification exception.
